Challenge DV becomes White Ribbon Australia approved training partner

Challenge DV is pleased to announce that it is an Approved Training Partner for White Ribbon Australia.

Through this partnership, workplaces across Australia who are undertaking the White Ribbon Australia Workplaces Accreditation Program can take part in a Challenge DV workplace program to support their accreditation. Challenge DV is currently one of three providers nationally who are approved to deliver this training.

Sian Fullerton, Challenge DV’s Workplace Programs Manager, said: “Domestic and family violence affects more than 3.6 million Australians every year with one woman a week on average dying from domestic and family violence.

“Workplaces have a powerful role to play in making a difference. That’s why we have made it our mission to end domestic and family violence by partnering with workplaces, where we can empower people to recognise the signs of domestic and family violence and respond appropriately.

“We’re delighted to become an Approved Training Partner to support workplaces who are on their journey to becoming accredited by White Ribbon Australia.”

White Ribbon Australia’s Workplace Accreditation Program engages a whole of organisation commitment to end gendered violence, creating a safer and more respectful workplace.

Learning plays a crucial role in building workforce capability in reducing and preventing gendered violence in our communities.
